The Christian Girls Podcast is a space for real conversations about faith, healing, identity, and walking with Jesus. We’re two Christian girls on a genuine journey with God, learning, unlearning, growing, and surrendering daily. This isn’t about having it all figured out, but about honest questions, quiet prayers, and discovering who we are in our Father’s eyes. A safe, real, faith-filled space for those who love God and still have questions.
Real faith. Real journeys. Real God.
What do you do when your heart is too heavy to say thank you?
Not the easy kind of gratitude, the kind that comes naturally when life is good. I’m talking about thankfulness in the valley. Thankfulness when you’re out of faith. Thankfulness when every natural instinct in you wants to grumble, murmur, or just give up and whine.
In this episode, we’re going there. We’re talking about what it really means to stay thankful at all times, in all situations not because the situation deserves it, but because God does. We’ll walk through what it looks like to worship in the wilderness, to praise Him in the waiting, and to say “thank you” even when it costs you something to say it.
If you’ve ever felt guilty for struggling to be grateful… if you’ve ever wondered how anyone gives thanks in the middle of real pain… this episode is for you.
Because gratitude against all odds isn’t weakness, it’s warfare. And it’s time we learned how to fight with thanksgiving on our lips.

S1 : Ep11 | FAITH WITHOUT BORDERS
There is a subtle temptation many believers face: trusting God with the things we cannot do while relying entirely on ourselves for the things we can.
We pray for healing but not for wisdom.
We seek God for purpose but not for our daily decisions.
We trust Him with eternity but hesitate to trust Him with today.
In this episode, we explore the borders we often place around our faith and the invitation God extends to us—to trust Him with every area of our lives.
Through Scripture, personal reflection, and honest conversation, we discuss why control can feel safer than surrender, why faith and responsibility are not opposites, and what it means to involve God in both the extraordinary and the ordinary.
Faith without borders is not the absence of action. It is the refusal to live as though everything depends on us.
Because God is not only Lord of our salvation. He is Lord of our everyday lives.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding..." — Proverbs 3:5
We pray this conversation encourages you to invite God into the places you've been carrying alone.

S1 : Ep 9 | YOUR IDENTITY
Who are you when titles, achievements, relationships, and appearances change?
Many women build identity on things that can shift overnight, then wonder why they feel unstable. But your identity was never meant to come from the world.
In Christ, you are:
• Loved
• Chosen
• Forgiven
• Redeemed
• Made new
You do not have to earn an identity God has already given you.
Stop comparing. Stop proving. Stop shrinking.
Walk in the truth of who God says you are.
"Your identity is not your past, your mistakes, or your achievements.
Your identity is that you are loved, chosen, and created by God."

S1 : Ep8 | FORGIVENESS
Some of the pain we carry isn’t from what happened to us… it’s from what we keep holding onto.
Forgiveness is one of those things we know we’re supposed to do, but when the hurt runs deep, letting go can feel unfair. Someone hurt you. Someone betrayed your trust. Someone disrespected you… and maybe they never even apologized.
Yet as believers, we’re still called to forgive.
In this episode, we talk honestly about what forgiveness really means. Not pretending the hurt didn’t happen. Not excusing wrong. Not allowing people to keep hurting you. But choosing to release the offense, let go of the desire for revenge, and give the situation to God.
Because forgiveness isn’t always a feeling, it’s a decision.
A decision to obey God, even when it’s hard.
We also explore why forgiveness is so difficult, how bitterness quietly takes root when we hold on, and what it actually looks like to let go in a practical way. From guarding your thoughts to praying for those who hurt you, to releasing the need for justice into God’s hands.
And importantly, this conversation makes it clear that forgiveness does not always mean reconciliation. You can forgive and still choose wisdom. You can release the offense and still have boundaries.
At the end of the day, forgiveness isn’t about the other person, it’s about your freedom.
Because obedience to God always leads to freedom.

S1: Ep7 | HOW ARE YOU?
How Are You… Really? | The Power of Checking In on People
Some of the strongest people you know are also the most overlooked. The friend who always listens. The mentor who always shows up. The leader who encourages everyone else. We assume they’re okay… but are they really?
In this episode, we go beyond the surface level “How are you?” and talk about what it truly means to check in on people with intention, care, and compassion.
Because the truth is many people are not okay, even if they look like they are.
What we cover in this episode:
• Why “How are you?” has become a routine greeting instead of a real question
• The hidden weight people carry: stress, grief, loneliness, and more
• Why we often overlook the strong ones and those in leadership
• The importance of genuine, intentional care
• Practical ways to check in on people meaningfully
• How small acts of care can make a life-changing impact
Key reminder:
Sometimes the people smiling the most are carrying the heaviest burdens.
Scripture references:
• Galatians 6:2 — “Carry each other’s burdens…”
• James 1:19 — “Be quick to listen, slow to speak…”
Challenge for this week:
Be intentional. Reach out to someone,
a friend, a family member, or even a leader who has poured into you.
Don’t just ask “How are you?”
Ask it in a way that shows you truly care about the answer.

S1 : Ep6 | GIVE YOURSELF GRACE
Ever felt like you should be doing life better than you are?
Like you *should* have your routines together, your faith stronger, your emotions more stable… and somehow you’re still figuring things out?
In this episode, we’re having an honest conversation about the pressure so many of us carry especially in seasons like marriage, new jobs, motherhood, or even just trying to grow personally and spiritually. It’s that quiet feeling of “I should be further along by now.”
“Give Yourself Grace” is a reminder that you’re not behind you’re human.
We talk about why we’re often so hard on ourselves, how that pressure can actually leave us feeling exhausted instead of growing, and what it looks like to approach life with both grace *and* intention.
Inside this episode, you’ll be encouraged to:
Stop speaking to yourself so harshly
Let go of unrealistic expectations
Accept that growth takes time
Celebrate small wins you usually overlook
Rest without feeling guilty for it
If you’ve been in a season where you feel stretched, uncertain, or just not “enough,” this conversation will meet you right there.
You don’t have to rush your growth.
You don’t have to get everything right overnight.
You’re allowed to learn while you’re living and give yourself grace along the way.

S1 : Ep 5 | YOU ARE FREAKING CONTROLLING
Whew. Let’s talk about it.
In this episode, we’re having an honest, loving, but necessary conversation about control the subtle kind, the spiritualized kind, the “I just care” kind… and how it can quietly damage relationships, leadership, friendships, and even our walk with God.
Are you controlling… or just afraid to trust?
Are you leading… or manipulating?
Are you protecting… or operating from fear?
As Christian women, we’re called to surrender not micromanage what only God can handle.
In this episode we discuss:
• 🚩 Signs you might be operating in control (and not realizing it)
• 💔 How control shows up in friendships, dating, marriage & ministry
• 🙏🏽 The connection between fear, trauma, and control
• 📖 What Scripture says about surrender and trust
• 🌿 Practical steps to release control and grow in peace
This isn’t condemnation. It’s growth.
Because healing women don’t control — they trust God.
