A Woman's Identity as Gatekeeper: Warfare, Authority, and the Home
In this powerful episode of The Christian Mom Connection: From Motherhood to Ministry, Minister Nancy Phillips dives deep into the spiritual identity of a woman as the gatekeeper of her home. Drawing from Scripture and real-life spiritual insight, Nancy unpacks what it truly means to stand in authority, discern spiritual warfare, and guard the atmosphere of your household.
She explains that while intercessors can pray and cover a home, doors can still be reopened through sin, disobedience, or spiritual compromise within the household. This episode challenges women to recognize their God-given role, stand firm in prayer, and walk in wisdom and obedience as spiritual watchmen over their families.
Nancy also discusses the difference between a prayer board and a vision board, highlighting why prayer boards are rooted in submission to God’s will rather than human desire or manifestation.

Spiritual Warfare, Spiritual Gifts, and What the Church is Not Talking About
In this episode of The Christian Mom Connection: From Motherhood to Ministry, Minister Nancy Phillips addresses a topic many churches avoid, but Scripture makes clear: spiritual warfare and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
What happens when believers are encouraged but not equipped? In this teaching, we discuss what spiritual warfare truly is, why many churches do not teach on it, and how the Bible describes the unseen spiritual battles believers face. We also explore the gifts of the Holy Spirit, including speaking in tongues, and why these gifts still matter today for spiritual growth, prayer, and discernment.
This episode brings biblical clarity, balance, and truth to conversations that are often misunderstood or ignored, helping women grow in awareness without fear and walk in spiritual authority rooted in Christ.
