About The Christian Mystic

Hi, I’m Shaunna, your host and the Realistic Spiritualist. I’m a corporate mom just like so many of you—rushing through meetings, packing lunches, trying to keep my heart open amid the chaos. Lately, I’ve felt called to talk about something that’s changed how I walk with God: the stars He placed in the sky. I believe the God of the Bible created them as a guide for us, a quiet way He speaks through creation. But I know the church has often taught the opposite—that astrology is off-limits or even dangerous. Today, in our very first episode, I want to gently walk through what Scripture actually shows. No judgment, just honest exploration from one busy mom to another. Let’s see what God really says.

   When Portals Ask for Sacrifices

In this episode, I dive into the powerful astrological portals we’ve been moving through—most recently the September 9 portal. These energetic gateways often bring karmic lessons and sometimes call for major sacrifices, especially as they tie into the eclipse cycle we just experienced. I unpack how these portals mark endings and beginnings, and why the energy around them can feel so intense, transformative, and deeply karmic.
