So in the Philippines, in a single year, the Philippines installed five times more rooftop solar than it had in the previous 10 years ago. combined. And in Pakistan, the rooftop solar boom has been so rapid that in only two years it's added as much generating electricity capacity as the country's entire fleet of fossil fuel power plants. That's according to Ember and Energy Think Tank. That's incredible, guys. But you both also have something else in common, which is you have some of the highest electricity prices in the world. […]
