And they played that for laughs and Mad Comics. And Alan Moore turned that dial and said, well, let's play that for drama. And thus was born Swamp Thing. He said, if there truly was a swamp monster that was walking around, what would be on his mind? And we're about to spend 60 issues hanging out with that exact swamp monster.
