[…] Sometimes we need to hear something more than once before we actually do anything about it. Number three, how do you track wholesale flower prices? This is a really important question, particularly if you're growing commercially. At Fieldgate, we need to understand what flowers are selling for in the wider market. not because we want to be the cheapest, we absolutely do not, but because we need to know where we sit. I would look at a few different wholesale websites rather than just one, and I would track specific flowers. For example, if you're growing delphiniums, look at the price of delphiniums of a comparable length, comparable quality and grade. […]
