[…] You can't implement ThreatLocker on day one and expect it to function properly because a lot of these tools have to have a learning period, especially with anything app control based. What you don't want to do is put an app control tool in your environment, go straight to enforcement because you're going to have 400 IT tickets in the morning for every user that has every executable block. So There is a little bit of setup involved, probably a 30-day learning period for the tool to categorize normal runtime executable scripts within the environment. And then you go enforcement mode. And anything that's not approved or is unseen in the environment, it's just stamped, blocked, and killed. […]
