[…] Well, there was no exception queue. So when transactions fell through the gaps in the monitoring, Nothing caught them. So about 5% of foreign currency wire transactions were excluded from the system entirely because the wrong data feed had been selected. A further 12 or so percent were missing counterparty information. So that's nearly a fifth of transactions either excluded or incomplete. Yeah, and they didn't find any of this until mid-2022, when FinCEN's investigation was already running. They then had to bring in an external consultant to identify what had been missed.
