[…] I set up a private equity fund and two foundations. And I found that being on the other side of the table from a bank was actually pretty hard if it were a small business. So my passion is visiting small customers and helping them. It's amazing. Like just a few days ago, my makeup artist tells me I've been trying to buy a home. Every single bank in Spain has said they cannot give me a mortgage. And being able to understand what that person needs and getting your company to not just fix it for him, but potentially for thousands of others, that is the best thing in the world. And so I love seeing big customers, but I love helping entrepreneurs, the self-employed or small companies get financing and be able to do what they need to do in life. […]
