The Rural Health Transformation Program is a new federal initiative that aims to improve rural health care systems. It's a five-year program, and Vermont received around $195 million for the first year of that program. And several Vermont towns will receive federal funding to help strengthen their disaster preparedness and resilience. The Federal Emergency Management Agency is sending more than $2.3 million to Vermont. Some of the awards include $70,000 to the town of Hardwick for flood recovery and resilience efforts. […]
