ચિન્મયી હેમાણીએ ઇલેક્ટ્રોનિક્સ અને કોમ્યુનિકેશનમાં બેચલર ડિગ્રી મેળવી સૌથી પહેલા ચાર વર્ષ રિલાયન્સ ઈન્ફોકોમમાં કામ કર્યું એની સાથે સાથે એમણે ત્યાં 3R એટલે કે રીડ્યુસ, રીયુઝ, રીસાઈકલ (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) પર કામ કર્યું. ત્યારબાદ TCS મુંબઈમાં ચાર વર્ષ કામ કર્યું જ્યાં એક સારી બાબત એ હતી કે 10 કર્મચારી કોઈ એક કોઝ માટે કામ કરવા ઇચ્છતા હોય તો ક્લ્બ બનાવી શકે, ત્યાં તેમણે એન્વાયરમેન્ટ ક્લ્બની શરૂઆત કરી અને વિકેન્ડ પ્રોગ્રામ્સ કર્યા જેમાં એક્સપર્ટ ટોક, બીચ ક્લીનઅપ, રેલ્વે સ્ટેશન ક્લીનઅપ, નેચર ટ્રેઈલ્સ વગેરે જેવા કાર્યક્રમો કર્યા. ચિન્મયીને આ બધું કરવું ગમતું હતું અને એમાં જ આગળ વધવાની ઈચ્છા હતી એટલે એમણે સારી એવી કોર્પોરેટ જોબ છોડી રૂચીની એન્વાયરમેન્ટ સસ્ટેઈનેબીલીટી પ્લાનર્સ (રૂચીની ESP) નામથી પોતાનું સ્ટાર્ટઅપ કર્યું. જેમાં તેઓ પર્યાવરણ સંરક્ષણ અને જલવાયુ પરિવર્તન માટે કામ કરે છે. ચિન્મયી માને છે કે આજે નહિ તો કાલે સૌએ આના માટે જાગૃત થવું જ પડશે અને આ દિશામાં કામ કરવું જ પડશે. તો આવો જાણીએ એમની સફર એમની પાસેથી જ...

રાજકોટમાં કોઈ ભૂખ્યો ઉઠે પણ ભૂખ્યો સુવે નહિ એ ઉદેશ્યથી કામ કરતી સંસ્થા એટલે બોલબાલા ચેરીટેબલ ટ્રસ્ટ. જયેશભાઇ ઉપાધ્યાય દ્વારા 1991માં એક વૃધ્ધ ડોશીમાની વેદના જોઈ, એમનું કોઈ ન હતું તો એમને મદદ કરવાનું નક્કી કર્યું અને માત્ર 51 રૂપિયાની બેન્ક બેલેન્સ સાથે 29-5-1991 ના રોજ શરૂઆત થઇ બોલબાલા ચેરીટેબલ ટ્રસ્ટની સેવાની સફર. નાના પાયાથી શરૂઆત કરી આજે ઘણા મોટાપાયા પર આ સંસ્થા કામ કરી રહી છે. મેડિકલ ઇકવીપમેન્ટ જેમને જોઈતા હોય એમને ત્યાંથી કોઈપણ ચાર્જ વગર વાપરવા આપવામાં આવે છે અને દર્દીને સારું થઇ જાય ત્યારે પરત આપી જવાનું. જયેશભાઇ કહે છે "સાધનો લઇ જાવ ને આશીર્વાદ આપી જાવ"
કોવીડની પ્રથમ લહેર વખતે સતત 72 દિવસો સુધી એમણે 25000 લોકો માટે રસોડું દરરોજ ચલાવ્યું જેમાં 108 વાહનો દ્વારા અને 500 થી વધુ સ્વયંસેવકોની મદદથી કોવીડની પ્રથમ લહેરમાં કુલ 20,00,000 લોકોને ભોજન પહોચાડ્યું. જેના માટે બોલબાલા ટ્રસ્ટને વર્લ્ડ બુક ઓફ રેકોર્ડ પ્રાપ્ત થયો. કોવીડની બીજી લહેર વખતે 15,000 ઓક્સીજન સીલીન્ડરની વ્યવસ્થા કરી હજારો જીંદગીઓ બચાવી.
બોલબાલા ટ્રસ્ટ રાજકોટમાં કોઈ ભૂખ્યો ન સુવે એ ઉદ્દેશ્યથી રોજ 32 વાહનો દ્વારા, 100 થી વધુ સ્ટાફ અને 200 થી વધુ સ્વંસેવકોની મદદથી રોજ 3000 થી વધુ લોકોને ભોજન પહોંચાડે છે. તો આવો જાણીએ જયેશભાઇ પાસેથી જ બોલબાલા ટ્રસ્ટની સફર વિષે...
