A visiting couple’s exploration of an old mausoleum near a remote Swedish estate unleashes an unnerving pursuit marked by the sound of relentless footsteps. Adapted by writer-producer Richard Thorne from M. R. James’s “Count Magnus,” this eerie tale was directed by Leroy Olliger and features Eloise Kummer. Surviving-recording sources note it may be substantially the same production as the earlier Hall of Fantasy adaptation “He Who Follows Me,” with altered credits.
