Intentional Motherhood 🤍
What does it mean to be intentional in the way we raise our children? In this episode, we talk about the impact our faith can have on future generations, the heartache of watching our children make their own choices, and the importance of trusting God with their journeys. We also dive into the pressures of comparison, the weight of social media, and the reminder that every child and every family is different.
Motherhood isn’t about having it all together or controlling every outcome. It’s about faithfully guiding our children, covering them in prayer, and trusting God with the parts we cannot control. 🤍

Ruth & Naomi
In this episode of The Hearth Collective, we welcome special guest Peggy Hunker for a beautiful conversation about the story of Ruth and Naomi. While the story of Ruth and Boaz often gets the spotlight, we’re taking a closer look at Naomi—the woman who experienced profound loss, yet still chose to bless Ruth and Orpah as they set out to build new lives of their own.
We talk about Ruth’s decision to stay with Naomi, Boaz’s character as a noble and honorable man, and the beautiful way he saw Ruth for more than her outward appearance. His kindness, protection, and integrity reveal a man whose character reflected something deeper than the culture around him expected. And we explore the redemption that unfolds through Boaz and what the birth of a child ultimately meant for Naomi.
This is a story of loss and loyalty, character and redemption, and the beautiful ways God can bring hope and restoration out of seasons of deep heartache. Join us as we discover what Ruth, Naomi, and Boaz can teach us about the kind of people we are called to be—and the beauty of being seen, loved, and redeemed.
We’re so grateful to have Peggy join us for this meaningful conversation!

Esther
✨ What if courage doesn’t always look the way we imagine?
In our latest podcast conversation, we talked about Esther and the circumstances that brought her into the palace. We often tell her story as one of bravery and heroism, but I wonder if we sometimes overlook the reality of what she experienced along the way.
Esther didn’t step into a glamorous, picture-perfect calling. She found herself in circumstances she didn’t choose, facing uncertainty, pressure, and a decision that carried enormous weight.
Sometimes, the situations God allows us to walk through aren’t beautiful or easy. Sometimes they’re filled with questions, worry, and a sense of obligation we never expected to carry.
And perhaps courage isn’t about feeling fearless or being excited about what’s ahead. Perhaps it’s about taking the next step when the situation is complicated, the outcome is uncertain, and the weight of the decision feels heavy.
Esther’s story reminds us that courage can grow in the most uncomfortable places.

Martha & Mary
Martha & Mary: When to Serve and When to Sit
In this episode of The Hearth Collective, we’re joined by special guest Peggy Hunker as we dive into the familiar story of Martha and Mary and the beautiful reminder Jesus gives us about being present with Him.
Martha was busy preparing and serving, distracted by all the things that needed to be done, while Mary chose to sit at Jesus’ feet and listen to His words. Although Jesus affirmed Mary’s choice in that moment, does that mean being a Martha is wrong?
Not at all! There is a time to serve, a time to work, and a time to sit quietly in the presence of Jesus. The challenge is learning to recognize what He is asking of us in each season and not allowing the busyness of doing things for Jesus to distract us from simply being with Him.
Join us as we talk about finding that balance, recognizing when our busyness is pulling us away from what matters most, and learning to choose between the work in front of us and the invitation to sit at His feet.
Because sometimes faithfulness looks like serving, and sometimes it looks like being still. The key is knowing when to do which.

Flourish
What if flourishing doesn’t mean life is easy?
In this episode, we’re talking about what it means to be rooted in God when life gets hard. Through prayer, Psalm 23, and the picture of being deeply rooted, we explore how staying close to God gives us strength to stand firm, even when the circumstances around us are anything but steady.
Because when the hard seasons come, people are watching. And when we remain rooted, trusting that God has us, our lives can become a powerful reflection of who He is.
You may bend. You may struggle. But when your roots run deep, you don’t have to be uprooted.

Grow
GROW 🌱
What does it actually look like to grow in your faith?
In this episode of The Hearth Collective, we’re talking about the everyday rhythms that help us grow closer to Jesus—starting with something simple but powerful: getting into God’s Word.
We dive into the parable of the seed and the sower and talk about what it means to have a heart that is ready to receive God’s Word. We’re getting practical about reading the Bible—how to start, when to read, what seasons of life can look like, and even which book of the Bible we love recommending to someone who is just beginning their faith journey.
We also talk about the importance of getting connected to a Bible study or small group and the incredible impact that doing life alongside other believers can have on our spiritual growth.
Because growth doesn’t happen by accident. It takes time, intention, nourishment, and community.
So grab your Bible, pull up a seat, and let’s grow together. 💕

Gather
What does it really mean to gather?
In this episode, we look at the way Jesus gathered, how He walked with His disciples, invited people in, shared life with them, and created space for connection. We talk about what His example can teach us about gathering in our own lives, and why sometimes simply showing up, making room, and walking alongside someone can mean more than we realize.
This conversation reminded us that gathering isn’t just about a place or a table. It’s about people. It’s about being present. It’s about doing life together.
And maybe, in a world that can feel more disconnected than ever, we all need a little more of it.
Come gather with us.
