What people either are uninformed about or aren't paying attention to are changes like the average household income and the price of houses, for example. The average house in the 1950s was two and a half times median household income. So that allowed my father a potato chip truck driver. He sold potato chips on a route, right? A potato chip truck driver with two kids to buy a house, right? Mm-hmm. now the average house is six times median household income or somewhere between five and six and so interest rates are higher too right right mortgages and we have these kids coming out of college and i was talking to my mba students this summer they're struggling um good jobs are not there or are not as plentiful as they were and and And they're frustrated by the fact that they can't get past the AI review of their resumes.
