[…] I mean, this is the guy that in year two and year three had moments where you wondered if he could go on that Kawhi Leonard trajectory, but he just couldn't stay healthy. Well, last year, the silver lining amid all the clouds of last season, the silver lining was that he did stay healthy other than that freakish oblique injury, which is, clearly a one-off. The point is he didn't have any issues with the lower left leg that required surgery. He was able to put that behind him. There was just all this other stuff that sort of eroded the more foundational elements of his game, or at least what needs to be his foundation for him to be really good. […]
