[…] There's a crisis. People are starving. So what do the other Christians do? Out of gratitude, they send some of their possessions and some of them sell land and give some of their wealth. And what that is, that's Christian kindness and charity. What it doesn't say is the government sees their assets and fix the problem. And so there is private property ownership in the Bible. I'll get to that quickly. But what happens here is you have people that are voluntarily... sharing with brothers and sisters in Christ who are in need. It has nothing to do with the government, nothing whatsoever. In the same way today, there's micro versions of this in every church where, like I can think of a gal in our church. […]
