[…] I remember like 10 years ago when the Warriors spent like double what everybody else did. But I don't like that it kind of penalizes you for keeping your own players. Then you don't like a hard cap. Either you like a hard cap or do not like a hard cap. I know. Basketball has been a soft cap where like one team pays 100% of the cap and another team pays 140% of the cap because they drafted better. I don't think you should be penalized for drafting better though. Well, then you don't like a hard cap. I guess I don't. Okay. I like this hybrid system of like it's not a hard cap, but if you want to go in the second apron, there's a lot of penalties. […]
