[…] First one, Covey Rise Lodge in Louisiana. This is about an hour, hour and change from New Orleans and Baton Rouge. A guy named Jimbo Geisler built this place from the ground up and he's a wonderful guy. What I like about Covey Rise is that they have a lot going on and they also celebrate the region really well. So they walk up field hunts, they do some tower shoots, they have a great pro shop they have an incredible sporting clays course with a great instructor they fishing they have other stuff going on around the edges of all that but they also have exceptional like Cajun cooking and southern cooking they have really unique lodging they have all of these different facets of the experience that showcase where they are what they do what kind of culture they're they're they're proud of and what they want to express so Really great place to go spend a few days and do all sorts of different things.
