[…] And it's great that we have these organizations like the Association of Preserve Cape Cod who go and monitor the ponds. But a lot of that is runoff from the housing. We're too quick to clear a lot, cut down the trees. You're looking at somebody who, I'm a landscaper, but I'm an avid gardener and I love nature. And we can't just go in and clear cut a lot put in a huge lawn and say we want it to look like the ninth fairway on a golf course, you know, because all those pesticides, all those things run off into the lakes and the ponds and they cause the algae blooms, they kill the wildlife. And, you know, so we need to be better stewards and think long term about what is good for Cape Cod. […]
