[…] And I would love to get your thoughts on advantages and disadvantages that this defense can pose for Oregon up front. Well, the 3-3 stack was invented because of the spread offense, right? It allowed you to get athletic backers out in space and to be able to cover guys downfield. You know, it was those idea where you would have these outside backers that could be safeties, could be corners, right? And that's what really helped with the spread. And so the 3-3 stack really worked. It's a gap sound defense. Everybody knows exactly what gap they have. They could spread you out. But the holes and the places you can get exposed is if you are able to put more guys like, you know, a down tight end, run off tackle, kick guys out. […]
