Magick and mental health are usually treated as separate worlds, but today, Arden argues that keeping them apart may be limiting real healing. In this season finale, we explore why traditional therapy and recovery frameworks sometimes fall short of creating deep change. Arden breaks down the stigma around "magical thinking" and shares how tools like corrective experiences, shadow work, and spirit allyship can support transformation. The conversation also gets personal, touching on stigma, identity, and the courage to trust experiences that don’t fit into neat categories. Arden advocates for a broader understanding of mental health that includes spiritual phenomena and the potential of magick to facilitate rapid transformation.
We bring this season to a close by encouraging listeners to reconsider their biases and explore new pathways for mental wellness and self-actualization.

Mat Auryn: Embracing Your Psychic Gifts
This week on The Re-Patterning Podcast, we're joined by occult author, teacher, and podcaster, Mat Auryn. Mat is the author of books such as Psychic Witch and The Psychic Art of Tarot, and the cohost of The Circle Is Podcast, alongside Rachel True.
Mat joins us to discuss psychic ability, magical practice, and how both are shaped by self-knowledge, conditioning, and repetition. We explore how intuition is often trained out of us, how to tell the difference between useful perception and spiraling delusion, and why inner work matters just as much as any spell or divination tool.
Mat explains why he believes everyone is psychic, even if those abilities are dormant or suppressed. He also shares practical ways to develop and regulate psychic sensitivity, including meditation, journaling, divination, and simple energetic exercises.

Jennifer Espenscheid: The Path to Artistic Freedom
On this episode of The Re-Patterning Podcast, we're joined by multidisciplinary artist, Jennifer Espenscheid. Jennifer's metal sculptures, murals, and other art pieces have been featured at Burning Man, Love Burn Miami, and other art events and music festivals across the country. She joins us today to share the practical and spiritual patterns that helped her build a career as a professional artist, creating customized art pieces for clients, communities, and public spaces.
Our conversation explores Jennifer's artistic process, and the ways she helps others bring their projects to life as a creative coach. We break down every step of the guided creative journey, and the role of budget, boundaries, and deadlines in a sustainable artistic practice. She stresses the importance of recognizing frustration and self-doubt as part of the creative process, and how these challenges are the first sign that a project is on the right track. Jennifer also shares the role psychedelics have played in her own artistic journey, and how they can help us find our own inner muse.
