Troy Jackson’s Debate Answers; MS NOW Comes to Maine - MWTV
Tom Shattuck, Steve Robinson, Jon Fetherston, Graham Pollard and Seamus Othot on the Susan Collins-Troy Jackson debate. The panel says Jackson’s answer on the FHA loan for his Augusta house, that he was there five days a week, contradicts how he described the house when defending his mileage reimbursements. They also play MS NOW host Jen Psaki’s interview with Jackson in Maine. Robinson says absentee ballot requests through Oct. 6 reached 100,657, with 54.9% from registered Democrats, compared with 60% at the same point in 2022. Fetherston says a man threatened him in a hallway after Tuesday’s Lewiston City Council meeting, where speakers criticized his reporting. Othot reports on a prison protest, and Joe Sokol’s video shows early-morning traffic at a Bangor methadone clinic.
