Satsang Conversations EP. 6: A Poor Man

Welcome to Satsang Conversations! 🙏In this spiritually enriching episode, we take you to the serene setting of the BAPS Mandir in Sarangpur, Gujarat — the home of Sant Talim Kendra, the training center for BAPS sadhus. Join Swami Aksharniketdas, Swami Gnannidhidas, Swami Keshavtilakdas, Pujya Jaydev Bhagat, and Shri Dhavalbhai as they dive deep into the spiritual practice of goshthi. Episode Highlights:This week’s dialogue explores Vachanamrut Gadhada II-7, titled as “A Poor Man.” Revered by Shastriji Maharaj, this short yet profound Vachanamrut teaches practical lessons on Vairagya, contentment, and Seva — values that are as relevant today as they were 200 years ago. In this episode, we reflect on a powerful exchange between Muktanand Swami and Bhagwan Swaminarayan from Vachanamrut Gadhada II-7. When asked why certain negative swabhavs (inner tendencies) persist despite sincere effort, Shriji Maharaj explains that a lack of vairagya (detachment) is often the root cause. He emphasizes that true transformation becomes possible when one wholeheartedly serves a great Sant and sincerely follows God's commands. Drawing upon real-life examples of pujya Sadguru santos and senior haribhaktos, the conversation reveals how intensely serving Satpurush has resulted in the spiritual upliftment of them. 🔗 Resources:1) Follow along with the Vachanamrut Study app or online at anirdesh.com2) Watch previous Satsang Conversations📍 Listen Now & Share Your Thoughts!💬 Let us know in the comments—what stood out to you the most? ✨ If you found this episode valuable, don’t forget to: 👍 LIKE | 💬 COMMENT | 🔔 SUBSCRIBE for more inspiring content! 📌 Follow us on: ✅ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/the_satsang_life/✅ WhatsApp Community: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VatweYo72WTq7PiYO41o✅ Telegram Channel: https://t.me/the_satsang_life✅ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thesatsanglife✅ Blogpost: https://thesatsanglife.com/satsang-conversations/finding-freedom-from-swabhavs/✅ Location - BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Sarangpur: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Qfn1z6phQAdsvL1M6#SatsangConversations #vachanamrut #spiritualwisdom #selfawareness #innergrowth #wisdom
