[…] And that has given me the most phenomenal position because on the one hand, I engage very regularly in with some of the labs that are doing the cutting edge work in medicine and science. And that actually gives me the opportunity to say, categorically, we don't have to give up the cure for cancer for AGI. These two things are entirely separate. And literally, you do not need a big, huge frontier model to solve cancer. You need really high quality medical data to solve cancer, quite narrow data. and specific and not full of slop. So I got involved in all of that, and it was while I was doing that work that the whole thing about scraping copyright became a very public issue in the UK. […]
