[…] What I'm curious as a comic shop owner from my perspective is how do I tap into the reason absolute Batman and the retailer exclusives go so crazy sometimes on the open market is because it's not comic book buyers that are doing this. Obviously, they're buying comics, so you'd classify them as comic book buyers, but they're Batman fans from outside of the comics. There are very few superheroes that do this, but Spider-Man, Superman, and Batman have huge fan bases of people who have never read a comic in their entire life. There are even incredible Hulk fans I've met who have never bought a comic in their whole life. […]
