[…] So like I want as a human being truth. I like justice. I like a healthy amount of recognition when something's done well and feedback when it's not that's constructive and not dehumanizing. I need community. I have friendships and more than that. We like security. We like knowledge. We like friendship. None of those are evil things. But what happens when they become distorted, when this habituation happens? machine takes over well it takes that desire for justice a good and it becomes a desire to condemn right it takes on this tone of condemnatory tone um desire for truth becomes i have to be proven right right and that self starts to take over the desire for community becomes tribalism us versus them we're on the side of uh you know we're on the right side of history They're on the wrong side.
