[…] Since you and I started recording our original podcast, Wes, it's just amazing and eye-opening to me the advances that are being made, the progress that's being made, and finally having answers to so many of these terrible tragedies. But in addition to that, There is the human need, very real need, I certainly have had it, for motive. And motive used to play a big part in murder cases and solutions. Now that the hard science is there with DNA, it doesn't seem to play as large a part. And sometimes it's just random. But it's really satisfying for me to be able to determine more clearly the probable motive. in this particular case, because it's quite real. […]
