Lorcana Hyper City Meta & Ink Drop Rules You’re Getting Wrong | Emerald Steel vs Emerald Amber
Hyper City is here, and ink drops are everywhere. This week Michael and Glenn break down the two decks sitting at the top of the early meta, then go through the ink drop rules most players are getting wrong.
First up is Emerald Steel: why Walter & Jesse and Flash have made it the deck to beat, and how Max Goof doubles up your Strength of a Raging Fire. Then Emerald Amber Songs, with the Don Karnage and Wither a Flower combo that’s close to a board wipe on turn four.
After that, it’s everything you need to know about ink drops. How they work, why they don’t count as ink in your inkwell, how to track them, and which cards hand them to your opponent. Along the way we cover Baymax Armored Up, Intense Research, the Big Hero 6 cards, Shere Khan’s deal, and the mysterious “pay 6” tax.
We also look at the new Adventurous keyword, the Coco discard cards, a round of tricky rules questions, and a viewer-submitted Emerald Amber “Playing Possum” deck.
