I'm So Not Over It is a comedy history podcast about things you'll remember from the first time round.
Each week comedy writers Gareth Gwynn and Esyllt Sears explore a different month in history – but with a brief stretching from the mid-70s to the present day. Basically, if you could see it, it would be in colour.
It’s politics and pop culture for the eighties, nineties, noughties and beyond, delivered in 20 minute hits because we know what your attention span is like.
So if you remember Westlife but struggle with the Westland affair and if your favourite Aitken was a Tory MP or the one who co-wrote I Should Be So Lucky, we’ve got you covered in this ridiculous historical guide to the information age (even if that information came from a poorly recalled browse of Encarta ‘95).
These weekly episodes are interspersed with interviews with the people who lived through this period to understand whether it has had any bearing on the lives they lead today.
The perfect listen, whether you’re Generation X, Gen X, Xennial, Millennial, Generation Z, Gen Z or whatever Pepsi wants to call you.
I'm So Not Over It is brought to you by the team behind the award nominated Xennial Dome Podcast - Previous guests on that show include Nish Kumar, Jess Philips MP, Trevor & Simon, Isy Suttie and many more and those episodes can be found on the same podcast feed.

ANNA THOMAS on October 2005 (live from Aberystwyth Comedy Festival)
We're excited to say we are joined by a BBC New Comedy Award winner, the fantastic Anna Thomas - Live from Aberystwyth Comedy Festival!
Feels like another case of us having to explain to new listeners this is not a Royal Family themed podcast, despite at least one anecdote being particularly Royal-heavy (and you won't see it coming). We'll also cover Anna's experience of the 1999 eclipse, her favourite early-00s websites and the sort of Xennial Dome choice you can't believe someone hasn't chosen already. We also chat October 2005 with the film news and tech news of the era - and there's some shocking statistics about how many Esyllt's are in the world (turns out this podcast is home to a shockingly large proportion).
Follow Anna on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/annathommy/), TikTok (https://www.tiktok.com/@annathomastiktok), BlueSky (https://bsky.app/profile/annathommy.bsky.social), in fact, here's her LinkTree (https://linktr.ee/annarosethomas)!

Bit of a delay in getting this one out, but we were determined to do so on a Fuesday.
In this episode, we learn that the day of the Cadbury Fuse bar's launch was a Tuesday, dubbed Fuesday - but actually, thinking about it, maybe only the Tuesday which saw the launch of the Fuse bar was "Fuseday"?
And actually, even that's wrong and all subsequent Tuesdays were "Fusedays", I presume there hasn't been a real Fuesday since the bar's mid-00s demise?
Something to think about, eh?

August 1989 (Ankle Tag)
Gareth Gwynn is at the Edinburgh Fringe (https://www.edfringe.com/tickets/whats-on/gareth-gwynn-cyril) until the 31st August and tickets are still available! Come along!
On today's episode, Esyllt talks us through the first ever "anklet tag" - a subject Gareth knows a concerning amount about thanks to three series of the BBC Radio 4 sitcom Ankle Tag - which he co-wrote with Benjamin Partridge. As such, much of this episode is taken up by him trying to remember what's real and what they made-up for jokes, but we have checked and it turns out you now CAN'T disable an ankle tag using a freezer. I think they've closed that particular loophole. Anyway, once you've listened to this episode there's three series of the sitcom to enjoy on BBC Sounds (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/brand/b092sfnk) or Audible (https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/Ankle-Tag-Series-1-3-Audiobook/1787538923).
