IMPRINTS - V Recordings (1993-2003) - d mix

Time for another deep dive into an iconic label. One of the scene’s finest. Starting in 1993 and still as influential today as it was all those years ago, this label has launched careers, defined the genre and had some of the best parties around. This mix is going to focus on the first 10 years. A set of tracks dominated by Roni Size, Die, Krust, Dillinja, and also remixes from Origin Unknown and M.I.S.T.. this is all beats, bass and funky as f**k! When you look back over these tunes you can hear and see why this label is still around. For every year represented this label produced one of the tune’s of that year… From Jazz Note in 94’, Play it For Me in 96’ or The Power in 2000, always at the cutting edge. Simply one of the best.
