Beth and Tim recount the triumphs and tribulations of working for a community theatre in Maryland that at times felt like a cult.
Each week, they dive deeper into what started as a hobby to build their resume and find community making art, but quickly turned into a web of social politics, drama, and many chaotic moments they never expected one little theatre could create.
On this episode, we finish out our conversation on rent, including the director asking someone in the ensemble too expose themselves as a sh!+ Talker in a painfully dramatic way. We talk about MCT's first annual award show, who won, who lost, who cares? And we introduce you to a divisive character in the narrative that we have plenty of complex opinions on.

Meanwhile, Beth is talking all about RENT, and the Mimi that committed a hit and run, and caused a ton of back stage chaos.
