How Childhood Forms Systems of Unbelief | Intro To TheoPsychology | Part Nine

In Episode 009 of The TheoPsychology Podcast, Derek Palizay confronts the false belief systems and strongholds silently shaping the lives, marriages, emotions, behaviors, and spiritual realities of those under your care. This episode dismantles the modern psychological tendency to merely label fruit while ignoring the deeper systems of unbelief producing it. From childhood environments and neurological patterning to spiritual agreements, generational traditions, attachment systems, emotional conditioning, and soul-level fragmentation — this teaching exposes how people unknowingly build entire lives around belief systems that stand in opposition to the righteousness of God. Derek breaks down: • How false belief systems become strongholds • Why many people remain in spiritual arrested development • The connection between neurological development and soul formation • Synaptic pruning, stress circuitry, attachment, mirroring systems, and environmental conditioning through a TheoPsychology lens • Why unhealthy fruit is evidence of deeper agreements and allegiances • The biblical process of renouncing systems of unbelief • How counselors, pastors, coaches, and leaders unintentionally reinforce deception • Why true repentance includes dismantling the systems that produced the fruit This episode is a direct challenge to modern therapeutic culture, worldly psychology, passive discipleship, and every system that normalizes dysfunction while rejecting the power of the Holy Spirit to heal, reorder, sanctify, and transform. If you help people change the belief system, you help them change the fruit. SCRIPTURES: Romans 11 1 Corinthians 13 2 Thessalonians 2 Ephesians 4 Romans 6 Matthew 7 John 15 Jeremiah 6 Galatians 6 Acts 26 Matthew 3

Many Therapists & Counselors Are Just Licensed False Teachers…Here’s Biblical Proof | Intro to TheoPsychology | Part Eight

We expose: why spiritually dead counsel cannot produce spiritual life how bitterness, resentment, and offense become normalized in modern therapy culture why many counselors nourish people from their own unconsecrated condition how “healing” language can become a disguise for rebellion against God’s design and why Scripture repeatedly warned us about false teachers, false wisdom, man-made philosophies, and doctrines that sound compassionate while producing destruction. This is not an attack on people. It is a warning about systems of counsel that often comfort the flesh God is trying to crucify. The Bible says there is a way that seems right to a man… …but its end is destruction. And in an age where broken people are desperate for relief, many are unknowingly placing their souls, marriages, and families under voices that are spiritually blind themselves.

This episode unpacks why many marriages are being counseled through accusation, self-preservation, emotional reasoning, and external appearances rather than covenant, repentance, consecration, and spiritual maturity. Derek exposes the difference between: — external adornment vs inward condition — the ministry of condemnation vs the ministry of covenant — worldly therapeutic models vs biblical restoration — self-awareness without transformation vs true repentance that produces fruit You’ll also hear a deep teaching on: — marital TheoPsychology — covenant roles of husbands and wives — gifts, graces, callings, anointings, and assignments — why many spouses cannot access their God-given gifts while living outside of holiness and order — how counselors, pastors, and therapists unknowingly participate in marital division — what it actually means to “steward” a spouse according to Scripture This is not a soft conversation. It is a direct confrontation against performative Christianity, external “healing,” and counsel that comforts captivity instead of destroying it. If you are a: — counselor — therapist — pastor — coach — husband or wife fighting for restoration — or someone trying to understand why modern relationship advice keeps failing… …this episode will challenge the way you see marriage, spiritual leadership, healing, and covenant itself. “What God has joined together, let no counselor or therapist separate.”

Therapy Cannot Restore the Soul and Instead Profits Off of Dysfunction | Intro To TheoPsychology | Part Six

Tax Deductible Donation as an individual or an organization: https://www.EstablishedFamily.com/give (https://www.EstablishedFamily.com/give) Apply for Established Family Trusted (in-network or out-of-network provider): https://www.EstablishedFamily.com/trusted (https://www.EstablishedFamily.com/trusted) Host The Marriage Academy at your church, small group, or organization: https://www.EstablishedUniversity.com/host (https://www.EstablishedUniversity.com/host) What happens when an entire industry profits from keeping people functional… but never fully transformed? In this episode of The TheoPsychology Podcast, Derek and Jordan confront one of the most controversial questions in modern counseling, therapy, and pastoral care: “How do we know when the work is actually done?” Not when someone is coping better. Not when they’ve learned the right language. Not when they’ve managed symptoms. But when they have been RECOMMISSIONED into the original design, purpose, and calling that God wrote over their life. This episode explores the difference between carrying the weight of responsibility and carrying the weight of God’s glory. Derek breaks down the biblical concepts of kavod (the weight of God’s glory) and massa (the weight of responsibility), exposing why so many marriages, families, counselors, and leaders are collapsing under burdens they were never meant to carry apart from God’s presence. This conversation also dives deep into: — why modern psychology often treats dysfunction without restoring design — how false agreements, vows, and internal oaths keep people spiritually bound — the biblical distinction between promises, oaths, and vows — why many people are surviving the manifestation of being out of position — how deliverance and consecration relate to identity, marriage, and purpose — the danger of “man-made fictions” replacing biblical transformation — why true healing must involve spirit, soul, and body — how spouses unknowingly make covenants with fear, despair, rejection, death, and falsehood — and why God’s goal is not behavior modification… but restoration back into covenant design This is not an episode about surface-level self-help. This is a confrontation with the systems, frameworks, and doctrines that keep people endlessly processing pain while never becoming spiritually mature, internally transformed, and fully activated in their God-given assignment. By now, you ought to be walking in purpose. By now, you ought to know the promises of God over your life. By now, you ought to be free. And if you are not… …this episode is for you.

Psychology Turned People Into Professional Victims | Intro To TheoPsychology | Part Five

In this episode of The TheoPsychology Podcast, we expose why modern psychology often validates captivity instead of confronting it… and why the Bible explains human behavior, dysfunction, torment, broken relationships, fear, rage, instability, addiction, blindness, and the human condition with greater accuracy than modern therapeutic systems ever could. We unpack the 5 Core Contributors to the Human Condition and why what is in your soul will eventually manifest in your marriage, your family, your relationships, your leadership, your parenting, your emotions, your decisions, and your life. This episode confronts: why your marriage may be “caught alive” spiritually how moral blindness forms in the soul why people amplify what grieves them while ignoring what grieves God how family of origin wounds shape fear, anger, instability, and identity why your conscience may still be carrying the residue of past decisions how demonic influence gains legal territory in a person’s life why bad company corrupts spiritual discernment how modern counseling can accidentally strengthen darkness instead of exposing it why your spouse is often not the true source of the condition being manifested in marriage and why the Bible already contains language for nearly every condition modern psychology claims to “discover” We also break down: Psuchikos. Sarkikos. Moral blindness. Soul captivity. Legal access. Spiritual oppression. False realities. Generational dysfunction. And the difference between being spiritually right… and actually righteous. This is not a self-help episode. This is a confrontation with the condition of the soul. If you’ve ever felt like: therapy gave you language but not freedom your marriage problems go deeper than communication tools your life keeps repeating the same cycles your fear, rage, anxiety, lust, instability, or exhaustion feel spiritual in nature or your soul knows something is deeply out of order… …this episode will challenge everything you thought you knew about healing.

Narcissism & Attachment Styles are Demonic Doctrines | Intro To TheoPsychology | Part Four

In today’s TheoPsychology episode, we confront two of the most normalized demonic doctrines shaping modern marriages, families counseling, therapy culture, and even the church itself: Narcissism. Attachment styles. What happens when psychological labels begin carrying more authority than Scripture? What happens when spouses stop confronting sin, pride, selfishness, rebellion, hardness of heart, and spiritual immaturity… and instead begin interpreting everything through therapeutic frameworks? This episode is not an attack on people. It is a confrontation against false authority, false identity, and false doctrine that is quietly discipling marriages away from repentance, sanctification, covenant, and transformation through the Holy Spirit. We unpack: Why narcissism culture often relabels sin nature instead of confronting it How attachment theory can slowly replace biblical transformation with psychological explanation Why modern counseling increasingly interprets marriage through self-preservation instead of covenant The danger of personality archetypes becoming identity markers How the church has adopted frameworks rooted in human philosophy over Spirit-led discernment Why Scripture already gives categories for the condition of the soul The difference between diagnosis and discipleship Why the Gospel offers transformation — not stabilization of the flesh How psychological labels can become spiritual strongholds inside families What the Bible actually says about the human heart, relational conflict, and renewal of the mind We also address: sin nature flesh vs spirit spiritual blindness hardened hearts double-mindedness discernible and observable conditions (DOC) discernible and observable symptoms (DOS) doctrines of demons soul health sanctification deliverance covenant restoration This is one of the boldest TheoPsychology episodes yet. If you’ve ever wondered why so much modern counseling leaves people informed but not transformed… …this episode will challenge everything. Scriptures referenced include: 2 Timothy 3 Romans 1 James 4 Galatians 5 Mark 7 Romans 12 2 Corinthians 5 Ephesians 4 Colossians 2 1 Timothy 4, and more.

Why People Get Stuck in Therapy and Counseling for Years | Intro To TheoPsychology | Part Three

In this episode of the TheoPsychology podcast, we confront one of the hardest truths facing modern counseling, therapy and even the church: You cannot fix in the physical what was defiled in the spiritual. Derek breaks down why so many people spend years in therapy, counseling programs, church systems and self-help cycles…yet remain blind, hardened, seduced and spiritually captive. This episode challenges practitioners, pastors, counselors and leaders to stop viewing people merely through behavior, labels and symptoms—and begin discerning the true spiritual condition underneath the brokenness. We talk about: — Why many people remain stuck in cycles of counseling for years — The 3x human conditions modern therapy ignores: pneumatikos, psuchikos and sarkikos — Why the Holy Spirit must become the foundation of true counsel and discipleship — The danger of “whitewashed” counseling that offers false peace without true freedom — 4 discernible and observable spiritual conditions we consistently see in counseling: Spiritual blindness Seduction Hardened hearts Being “caught alive” by the enemy — Why behavior modification alone cannot heal the soul — The difference between shepherding people into freedom vs. managing their dysfunction — How psychology has idolized the mind while neglecting the full biblical design of spirit, soul and body — Why deliverance, discipleship, inner healing and repentance are essential to true transformation — What it means to become a “Gospel infused” counselor, therapist, pastor, marriage and family This episode is a direct challenge to modern systems that have replaced spiritual discernment with human wisdom—and a call back to Spirit-led healing, biblical order and the transformational power of the Gospel. Listen now and join the movement reclaiming soul health through TheoPsychology.

Exposing the 3x Human Conditions Therapy Ignores | Intro To TheoPsychology | Part Two

Donate as an individual or an organization: https://www.EstablishedFamily.com/giveApply for Established Family Trusted (in-network or out-of-network provider): https://www.EstablishedFamily.com/trustedHost The Marriage Academy at your church, small group, or organization: https://www.EstablishedUniversity.com/host ——— In this episode of TheoPsychology, we expose one of the greatest missing pieces in modern psychology, counseling and even much of the Church: …the TRUE condition of man. Scripture teaches that humanity is not simply physical or emotional — we are spirit, soul and body. And depending on what is governing a person’s life, the Bible gives entirely different classifications and conditions for that individual: — Pneumatikos (spirit-governed) — Psuchikos (soulish) — Sarkikos (flesh-governed) In this episode, Derek breaks down: • The tripartite nature of man • Why the soul must come under the governance of the regenerated spirit • How Scripture defines the “soulish” condition • The war between flesh, soul and spirit • Why many counseling systems help people manage dysfunction instead of healing it • The biblical meaning of ψυχή (psuchē / soul) • What it means to become “double-souled” (δίψυχος / dipsuchos) • How brokenness, instability, division and disorder manifest in the soul • Why spiritual maturity cannot be separated from soul health This is not psychology through a Christian lens. This is the reclaiming of the soul through the authority of Scripture and the governance of the Holy Spirit. Scriptures Covered Include: — 1 Thessalonians 5:23 — Romans 8 — 1 Corinthians 2–3 — James 1 & 3 — Jude 19 — 1 Peter 2 — Matthew 16 & 22 — Hebrews 6 — Jeremiah 31 — Ephesians 4 —and many more. TheoPsychology is a biblical framework devoted to restoring and ordering the human soul within the tripartite design of spirit, soul and body — so the regenerated human spirit, aligned with the Holy Spirit, governs the mind, will, emotions and moral faculties according to God’s design.
