About This Side of the Hill
Hosted by Janet and Jason Caperna (Bravo TV’s The Valley), alongside their BFF & Cancer Patient Advocate, Jared Lips, This Side of the Hill is a weekly show highlighting the peaks and valleys of real life, pop culture and the throes of social media. From the chaos of first-time parenting to the mind games of online dating, there's no shying away from the good, the cringe or the weird. They unpack chronically online stories, recap the real life drama of their lives, and Jared often ponders what Britney Spears is doing in this exact moment. Whether it’s an awards show, a Reddit thread, or reliving an embarrassing moment, each host shares their opinion, standing firmly on their side of the proverbial hill. Jared, the resident pop culture aficionado, ensures the Capernas know what’s going viral, what shows to watch, and which pop songs are in the top ten. Janet shares her unfiltered side as a first time mother and public figure, while Jason rounds out the crew as the resident attorney, sole sports fan & the pragmatic one (allegedly). They bicker, bond, and invite every listener to be a friend of the pod. No matter where you stand, there’s a POV for you on This Side of the Hill. New episodes every Wednesday. Hosted on Acast.
