Thy Strong Word from KFUO Radio

About Thy Strong Word from KFUO Radio

Thy Strong Word reveals the light of our salvation in Christ through study of God’s Word, breaking our darkness with His redeeming light. Each weekday, two pastors fix our eyes on Jesus by considering Holy Scripture, verse by verse, in order to be strengthened in the Word and be equipped to faithfully serve in our daily vocations. Thy Strong Word is hosted by Rev. Dr. Phil Booe, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church of Luverne, MN, and graciously underwritten by the Lutheran Heritage Foundation.

[…] It committing ourselves to christ as a result of the faith he's given us will really bring us more trouble more problems things go harder because of persecution and the fact that we just don't fit in this society anymore and yet bearing the man of the image of heaven gives us hope for the future gives us a an understanding that yes we were men and people women of the dust but now our weakness and death are swallowed up and we get to have the very salvation that christ brings because we now bear his image and so it's i think it's a beautiful example you know this idea of bearing in verse 49 right just as we have born the image of the man of dust we shall also bear the image of heaven this image is like carrying or wearing something think of uh bearing a cross.
