Sometimes we talk about how even with witnesses, that doesn't make a difference. So, just a few days after this horrible incident where Charisma was killed, an arrest warrant was actually officially released looking for 40-year-old Shamar Atwater, who was officially being named the perpetrator in Charisma's murder. At the beginning of August 2025, after being on the lam for three weeks, police finally located and arrested Atwater. He was charged with, in addition to murder, criminal use of a weapon, unlawful discharge of a firearm, first-degree reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a license, and illegal sale or transfer of pistols or revolvers.
