True Friends is an X-Men podcast where two grown ass men play superhero show and tell. Hosts Joshua Catone and Kyle Gibson use the focused totality of their friendship to share their favorite things about the X-universe, from comics to cartoons, movies, toys, trading cards, and merch, sometimes with the help of special guests, fellow X-Men podcasters, and the creators themselves.
There's only 198 mutants left in the world and Rogue wants to make a x-team out of the dumbest 7 of them. Kyle brings SUPERNOVAS to the show and tell, the first 6 issue arc from Mike Carey's run on X-Men from 2006. It's post decimation and no one is having a good time. The mansion is on lockdown, the Beaubier twins are treating mental health emergencies with cult programming treated with VR brainwashing, and Rogue is single and "ready" for her own field team... just in time for the debut of The Children of the Vault.
