Gedanken zu 2. Mose 19, 1-6: Bei der Olympiade geht es auf den ersten Blick darum, dass jede/r für sich selbst etwas erreicht - jede/r Athlet/in, jede Nation. Aber irgendwie sind doch alle Teil einer größeren Gemeinschaft, die über Ländergrenzen hinausgeht und die ein gemeinsames Ziel hat. Mit den Religionen auf dieser Welt ist es nicht anders.

Weggespült
Gedanken zu Matthäus 7, 24-27: Die Dummen bauen ihr Haus auf Sand und riskieren, dass die Flut es wegspült. Das sagt jedenfalls die Bibel. Dumm ist aber nicht, wer sein Haus in einem der kürzlich überfluteten Gebiete gebaut hat. Dumm ist, wer sich grundsätzlich keine Gedanken um die Konsequenzen seines / ihres Handelns macht. Und Klugheit kann entsprechend unser Leben retten.

Gedanken zu 1. Könige 17, 1-16: Gott sorgt dafür, dass Elia genug zu essen und zu trinken hat. Das hat mich an ein Märchen von den Brüdern Grimm erinnert. Gerade dieses Märchen gibt einen guten Anstoß, wie wir die Not in der Welt bekämpfen können und wie wir wieder ins Lot bringen können, was eine völlige Schieflage hat.
