Lirim aus Burscheid ist 33 Jahre alt. Er und seine Frau haben vor einem Jahr Drillinge bekommen. Zusammen mit ihren beiden älteren Kindern leben sie jetzt zu siebt auf 70 Quadratmetern. Wera hat in letzter Minute noch einen Platz in einer Notunterkunft für wohnungslose Familien in Berlin ergattert. Sie macht sich auf den Weg zur Entbindung ins Krankenhaus. Um sich dort versorgen zu können, leiht ihr jemand 30 Euro. Die werdende Mutter überlegt, wie sie ihrem Sohn später erklären wird, dass der Vater nicht da ist.
