Being the "household of God", the church is called to bear family resemblance to our Lord. As the "buttress of the truth", the church acts as a stabilizing structure to support believers in the journey of holding fast to our faith in the Living God, amidst all the alternatives that the world would offer. Our faith rests ultimately in Christ, who is the truth and revelation of God.
