The following helplines are available nationally to provide advice & support to those who need it.
All victims of domestic abuse
The free National Helpline for domestic abuse is 0808 2000 247 and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
All victims of Sexual Violence
The free National Helpline for sexual violence is 0808 802 9999 and is open daily, 12-2.30pm and 7-9.30pm. They also offer a live chat facilaite on the website – www.rapecrisis.org.uk/get-help/want-to-talk
Male victims
The Mens Advice Line is 0808 801 0327 and is available Monday to Friday 10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm.

Mankind also supports male victims of domestic abuse on 01823 334244 and is available Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.

LGBT+
Galop’s Helpline for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender victims of domestic abuse is 0800 999 5428 and is available Monday, Tuesday and Fridays 10am – 5pm, and Wednesday and Thursday 10am – 8pm.

Stalking and Harassment
The national helpline for victims of stalking and harassment is 0800 802 0300 and is available Monday to Friday 9.30am – 4pm, except on Wednesday when it is available 1pm to 4pm.

Fred the Head
David Nathan, an off-duty officer, was walking near an abandoned flint mill in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, in an area accessible by a locked gate or a long walk down a narrow lane. He tripped on what looked like a bag of cement poking up from the ground but, on closer examination, found it was the top of a skull.
