Boudoir: Self-Love for Every Body
In this episode I'm talking with Seattle based boudoir photographer, Kendra Kerschner. Through her photography she helps her clients find love and appreciation for their body. I've personally experienced the power of working with Kendra and I can confidently say that the space she holds for her clients empowered me to show up (baring it all) confidently and full of self-love for myself. What I love about Kendra is that photo re-touching is not her prerogative. Instead she has created a movement focused on honoring the uniqueness and beauty of every body as the stereotypes of "beauty" float away and allow you to experience the beauty of being free in your own skin.

Staying True to Yourself When Everyone is Watching
Today I'm talking with my good friend and comedic rising star, Bri Badili. Over the past couple of years she has been building her reputation in the Seattle comedy scene and has quickly made waves with her natural stage presence and personal, relatable stories that revolve around finding the funnier side of life. Bri is talented at keeping her comedic style real, fun and honest. In the words of Dave Chappelle "the hardest thing to do is be true to yourself, especially when everybody is watching."

COVID-19 Survival Guide: How to Focus on Your Future Self
At my previous jobs, when something went wrong or an unexpected situation arose, my coworkers looked to my calm, cool, collected demeanor to temper the situation. I attribute this Zen to the unnatural amount of uncertainty I experienced as a young professional in the midst of the 2008 recession. In this episode I’ll dive into my journey experiencing chronic unemployment and how I’ve been able to cope with those unexpected situations and turn my life around by shifting my perspective.

Sip Your Way to More Empowered Self-Talk
Today I'm talking my good friend, Bay Area recruiter, and budding entrepreneur Ashleigh Trang. Asheigh has recently launched her passion project, Compliments ‘N Coffee. Ashleigh has created a series of customized coffee mugs that help uplift and encourage women to silence their negative self-talk one sip at a time. These products act as a powerful daily reminder for us to slow down, take a moment to sip on a cup (or two) of coffee, and pour into ourselves with positive affirmations to practice more daily self-love. As Mark Twain said, “If you can’t get a compliment any other way, pay yourself one.” Listen in as Ashleigh shares her journey and how she finds inspiration in helping others positively reconnect with themselves through a seemingly simple morning routine to foster a healthy self-image through how we talk to ourselves more powerfully. After all, self-love truly is the best love.

How to Shift, Change and Live Remarkably
I have a confession for you. For years I was all about sharing the importance of following and embracing our passions. While I still believe it’s important for us to take time outside of our lives to slow down and reflect on what makes us happy in life, simply being told to just "follow your passions” doesn’t help most of us know where to start let alone create realistic, tangible results. I decided to take a deep dive into the meaning of what it is to discover and follow your passions, and what I learned along the way is that it’s ok to shift, change and improve how we talk about a subject. In this episode I share what I learned from my own self-reflection and how I humbled myself to admit that I am still a work in progress, and that's ok!

Why It's Important to Slow Down and Reconnect with Yourself
Today I'm keeping it real as my special guest Corey Marshall and I talk about food, travel and what we’ve learned from living through loss and how that has shaped our outlook on life. In 2015 Corey decided to combine her lifelong love of food with her passion for travel by meshing her personal style and perspective in the food blogger industry. Today she is sharing her experiences and the struggles along the way of successfully building a brand that resonates with thousands of Millennials, food lovers and wanderlusters around the globe.
You can follow her on Instagram @missfoodieproblems - Corey's content is not only beautiful, authentic and honest, but it literally makes me salivate as I watch her do what she does best, eat and inspire! It's time to sit back and relax because it's time for you to meet the dynamic and heart-centered influencer behind Miss Foodie Problems, Corey Marshall.

Finding Inspiration in the Struggle
There comes a point at least once a month where I find myself struggling to feel inspired. Personal struggle isn’t anything new, it would be weird if we didn’t struggle, right? Struggling is inevitable, it’s what we do when we’re in the struggle that matters. Though it’s easier to throw oneself a pity party, the brave and strong thing to do is to find your way out of the struggle. It’s a mindful practice that’s always in progress. In today's episode we’re exploring how to find inspiration to

How to "Break the Mold"
In the last episode I shared my experience working in corporate America and what those, oftentimes trying, experiences taught me. In short, a desk job is not for everyone, and, look fear in the face and go for it! It’s time to put all this self-motivation into action, but we need a map on how to get there, wherever “there” is for you. In this episode we'll create actionable steps on how to build a realistic, personal definition of success that leads to an authentic life for yourself.

How I Left My Corporate Job
A desk job absolutely suits some people, but it's never suited me. After sitting behind a desk for 9-years, I unknowingly gained a ton of self-reflection. Today, I’m incredibly thankful for all the desks I’ve sat behind. Thanks to working in corporate America, I now know that after the 6-month honeymoon phase wears off, I quickly become disenchanted when I’m not 100% invested. Thanks to this realization I’ve lost jobs that I’d never wanted and gained the career path I’d been wanting to create.

Why I Became an Entrepreneur
Why did I become an entrepreneur? It’s a combination of reasons, which I’ll be sharing throughout this episode. As a result of the career lifestyle my dad created as an entrepreneur, our family had the freedom to travel and create memories together. This lifestyle continues to be the greatest inspiration for me when in following my own path vs. following the prescribed 40-40-40 career path - working 40+ hours per week for 40-years to retire on 40% of your salary. Press "play" and let's dive in!
