About Unapologetically Visible- For Latinas & WOC Founders: Personal Branding, Visibility & Leadership

Unapologetically Visible is a podcast for established Latina and Women of Color founders who are ready to become as visible, trusted, and well-positioned as the work they have already built. Hosted by award-winning Visibility and Leadership Coach Christina Jovanna Olivarez, this show explores what it takes to lead and grow when you have evolved but your brand, business or public presence has not caught up yet. Christina is a TEDx speaker and the founder of The Social Butterfly Gal and Hustle + Socialize. After more than a decade in business, she brings honest conversations about visibility, leadership, personal branding, and what it really means to build a business around the woman you are becoming. Through honest solo episodes, behind-the-scenes business reflections, mini coaching experiences, and powerful conversations with expert guests, Christina explores personal branding, thought leadership, authority positioning, sustainable business growth, leadership presence, self-trust, nervous system regulation, money, content strategy, decision-making, and navigating business transitions. Each episode takes you behind the scenes of the decisions, identity shifts and leadership challenges that come with running a service-based business. These conversations are for service-based entrepreneurs, coaches, consultants, creatives, therapists, strategists, educators, wellness founders, and thought leaders who are successful on paper but no longer want to rely on overworking, constant content, or performative visibility to remain relevant. Because visibility is not just about being seen. It is about being understood, trusted and chosen. You did not build this much expertise to remain the best-kept secret. New episodes every week. Follow Unapologetically Visible for sophisticated conversations about business, leadership, visibility, and becoming the woman your next chapter requires. You did not build this much expertise, authority, and impact to remain the best-kept secret. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy (https://acast.com/privacy) for more information.

The ROI of Better Decisions: What Strategic Coaching Can Change Before Revenue Shows Up

Is hiring a business coach worth the investment if your revenue doesn't immediately increase? When established entrepreneurs invest in private business coaching, the conversation often comes back to one question: Will this help me make more money? It's a valid question. But what if the most valuable outcome of strategic coaching happens before the revenue shows up? In Episode 62 of Unapologetically Visible, I challenge how we define return on investment (ROI) in the coaching industry and explore why better business decisions, stronger positioning, and more intentional leadership can influence a founder's long-term financial success. In this episode, you'll hear: Why the ROI of business coaching isn't always immediately reflected in revenue. How to recognize when your revenue problem may actually be a positioning, visibility, or strategic decision-making problem. Why clarity, confidence, and alignment aren't enough if your business decisions aren't financially sound. What Christina's own business evolution taught her about the financial consequences of major decisions. The difference between coaching, strategic advising, and mentorship, and how each supports established founders. Why improving your decision-making process can help you avoid costly mistakes and make more intentional investments. How leadership, positioning, and financial performance work together to support sustainable business growth. What to consider before investing in private coaching and how to evaluate the value you're receiving. Why Experienced Latina & WOC Founders Still Need Strategic Support

The longer you’re in business, the more complex your decisions become. Early-stage questions are often about learning: how to get clients, price your services, build credibility, market yourself, or create an offer people will buy. But once you’ve been in business for years, the questions change. Now you’re weighing profitability, positioning, sustainability, leadership, client acquisition, cash flow, capacity, reputation, and what you actually want the next chapter of your business to look like. In this episode of Unapologetically Visible, I explore why experienced founders still seek strategic coaching support even when they already know how to run a business. In this episode, I talk about: Why business decisions become more complex as your company matures The difference between needing more information and needing stronger strategic thinking What I learned from stepping away from a major revenue stream without a strong enough replacement acquisition strategy Why visibility and client acquisition are not the same thing The questions established founders should ask before making a major pivot How strategic coaching can help uncover the real problem underneath a tactical business issue The hidden cost of circling the same decision for months or years Why indecision can quietly create lost revenue, overextension, stalled positioning, and repeated business patterns What founders should realistically expect from a coaching investment Why ROI needs to be defined before entering a coaching relationship What a mature coaching client needs to bring into the room How to know when a consequential business decision deserves another perspective Chapters 00:00 Introduction to decision-making evolution in business 02:08 From knowledge to judgment: the changing questions of entrepreneurs 04:08 The impact of life transitions on business priorities 06:05 The importance of a client acquisition pipeline 07:58 Lessons from making major business decisions 10:00 The role of strategic support and coaching 12:09 Handling pushback and maintaining leadership 13:56 Investing in coaching and evaluating ROI 16:01 The importance of decision quality over information 18:07 Supporting complex decision-making in established businesses 19:00 The next era of discerning decisions in business 💼 Work With Christina If this episode hit home and you’re ready to step into the next level of your visibility and authority, explore 1:1 Coaching Options 👉 https://www.thesocialbutterflygal.net/coaching ( https://www.thesocialbutterflygal.net/coaching) 💌 Connect with Christina Follow on Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/TheSocialButterflyGal (https://www.instagram.com/TheSocialButterflyGal) Follow on LinkedIn | https://www.linkedin.com/in/christina-jovanna-olivarez-14081226/ ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/christina-jovanna-olivarez-14081226/) Follow on Threads | https://www.threads.com/TheSocialButterflyGal (https://www.threads.com/TheSocialButterflyGal) Subscribe to the Weekly Newsletter | https://exceptional-architect-8453.kit.com/378645e1ce?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAdGRleAOeg6BleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xMjQwMjQ1NzQyODc0MTQAAadxKUKygrtOk5mTgcTp_pI8hfcsESFjl7pnTlnhamq2ukyfYEPTSpqKlvweWw_aem_WGjpp-73guxgdW6-Xx4v1Q (https://exceptional-architect-8453.kit.com/378645e1ce?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAdGRleAOeg6BleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xMjQwMjQ1NzQyODc0MTQAAadxKUKygrtOk5mTgcTp_pI8hfcsESFjl7pnTlnhamq2ukyfYEPTSpqKlvweWw_aem_WGjpp-73guxgdW6-Xx4v1Q) Hosted on Acast. Visibility vs. Positioning: How to Know Which Problem You Actually Have

You’re showing up. People know your name. Maybe hearing people tell you how much they love your work. So why aren’t the clients, opportunities, revenue, or recognition matching your experience? You might assume you need more visibility. But what if people are already seeing you, and they simply don’t understand you in the way you need them to? In this episode of Unapologetically Visible, I break down the difference between a visibility problem and a positioning problem, and why established founders can waste months trying to become more visible when the real issue is how the market understands their expertise. In this episode, we dive into: How to tell whether you actually have a visibility problem, positioning problem, or both Why being well-known does not automatically mean you are well-positioned How to recognize when your audience still associates you with an older version of your business Why more followers, content, speaking, networking, or PR won’t fix unclear positioning How the quality of the opportunities coming toward you reveals what the market believes about your expertise Why the way other people describe you when you’re not in the room may be one of the strongest tests of your positioning The difference between creating relatable thought leadership and creating enough commercial clarity for people to understand why they should hire you Why established, multi-hyphenate women often struggle to decide what part of their expertise should lead How positioning affects authority, better-fit opportunities, client perception, and ultimately your pricing power Chapters 00:00 Introduction to visibility and positioning 02:12 The evolution of a business and its impact on branding 04:27 The importance of aligning your current work with your reputation 07:32 Why reach is not the same as effective positioning 08:23 What true positioning entails 09:08 Connecting your thought leadership to client needs 10:08 Diagnosing your visibility versus positioning issues 11:31 The importance of market messaging and clarity 12:44 Repetition and clarity in your messaging 13:36 Assessing whether your audience is the right one 14:24 The difference between volume of opportunities and quality 15:33 Rebuilding your reputation over time 16:12 How others perceive you when you're not in the room 17:02 Connecting thought leadership to client needs 17:56 Clarifying what you want to be known for now 19:11 The challenge of multi-hyphenated identities 20:23 Leading your market evolution with confidence 21:17 The value of external strategic perspectives 21:41 Supporting your business evolution with coaching 22:13 Supporting community and next steps 💼 Work With Christina If this episode hit home and you’re ready to step into the next level of your visibility and authority, explore 1:1 Coaching Options 👉 https://www.thesocialbutterflygal.net/coaching ( https://www.thesocialbutterflygal.net/coaching) 💌 Connect with Christina Follow on Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/TheSocialButterflyGal ( https://www.instagram.com/TheSocialButterflyGal) Follow on LinkedIn | https://www.linkedin.com/in/christina-jovanna-olivarez-14081226/ (https://www.linkedin.com/in/christina-jovanna-olivarez-14081226/) Follow on Threads | https://www.threads.com/TheSocialButterflyGal (https://www.threads.com/TheSocialButterflyGal) Subscribe to the Weekly Newsletter | https://exceptional-architect-8453.kit.com/378645e1ce?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAdGRleAOeg6BleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xMjQwMjQ1NzQyODc0MTQAAadxKUKygrtOk5mTgcTp_pI8hfcsESFjl7pnTlnhamq2ukyfYEPTSpqKlvweWw_aem_WGjpp-73guxgdW6-Xx4v1Q (https://exceptional-architect-8453.kit.com/378645e1ce?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAdGRleAOeg6BleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xMjQwMjQ1NzQyODc0MTQAAadxKUKygrtOk5mTgcTp_pI8hfcsESFjl7pnTlnhamq2ukyfYEPTSpqKlvweWw_aem_WGjpp-73guxgdW6-Xx4v1Q) Hosted on Acast.
