I’m your host, Lesego Lekgothoane, and am a passionate advocate for mental health equity and cultural empowerment. Unbound invites scholars, practitioners, and thought leaders to engage in thought-provoking conversations that transcend traditional boundaries of psychology. Together, we aim to liberate minds, challenge norms, and foster greater understanding.
In each episode, we explore the rich tapestry of psychologies, unveiling cultural insights, historical legacies, and contemporary experiences that shape mental health and well-being, with the aim of amplifying diverse perspectives.
In this deeply personal episode, which is the last of the season, I reflect on the journey of starting this podcast. I share how I've confronted and challenged some of the limiting narratives I've historically imposed on myself. This, to encourage you to take this on in your own life; really, that there is a you you'd be delighted to encounter waiting on the other side of your fears!

(Note: I make mention of Ben Truter of the NDC, which is the Neurodiversity Centre, not the Neurodiversity Clinic)
