Season 2 Episode 3: Should you forgive them
Alexander Pope once said: “To err is human, to forgive, divine.”
Humanity places a significant weight on the ability to forgive. We’re told doing so is to be the bigger person, and that it will free us from the shackles of resentment. “The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong,” said Gandhi.
But what if forgiveness feels… forced? Wrong? What if we don’t believe the person deserves it? Is there a time when holding a grudge is the healthier choice in some cases?
In this episode of Unboxing It, Rowan and Lara get real about the push for forgiveness and how it intertwines with people-pleasing, boundary setting, and inner peace.

Season 2 Episode 2: Turning 50
Lara here. Rowan and I both turned 50 this summer. A half-century is nothing to sneeze at, and we’ve both spent time contemplating what it means. Are we over the hill? Just hitting our stride? Maybe a bit of both? On this week’s episode, we talk through all the feelings we have about aging - good and bad - and what milestone birthdays mean to society and to both of us.
