Welcome to Uncharted Waters; where nothing is off-limits.
Hosted by queer married couple, Wes & Kris. The podcast is a deep-dive into the conversations most people want to avoid. We cover a variety of topics that make you wonder if your original thoughts are actually original. A podcast where the messy, beautiful, and brutally honest parts of our mind live.
Think late night talks, hard truths, reflection, unfiltered opinions, and a little bit of laughter along the way. Whether you're queer, curious, healing, or just tired of surface level content, you're in the right place. Have a seat.
Omg guys if you forgot about us you better remember because we are BACK from the dead. It's been over 6 months of not hearing our voices.
Seriously though, we are so happy to have a mic in our hands again. We moved and didn't have furniture and couldn't find our podcasting equipment. Spoiler alert: we finally found it .
Our welcome back episode contains nothing and everything. There's no one topic we discuss, but instead we say whatever's on our minds. In the future episodes, we'll have actual topics (we promise).
Anyway, happy to be talking to ya'll again <3 Follow our Instagram at @unchartedwaterspod (https://www.instagram.com/unchartedwaterspod/?hl=en) for BTS and other unhinged things.

The Silence We Keep
In this episode, we dive into a very deep and vulnerable conversation as Kristen shares a very personal story. It's raw and one of our most important talks yet. Join us as Kristen opens up about what happened to her and her way of moving forward after a traumatic event.
If you didn't know, Wes has a blog where Kristen initially talked about this topic anonymously. You can read that post, as well as others, here (https://seconddraft25.wordpress.com/2025/08/04/the-silence-we-keep/).
Remember, you are not alone. If you or someone you know can relate to the topic at hand, please reach out to someone. Our DMs are also always open for anyone who just needs a listening ear. You are important, and you are more than what happened to you.

From Kristen getting called the wrong name to Wes being sick and missing some parts of the reception. Thankfully, we can look back on all these mishaps and laugh.
