The classic novel, the playground of literary greats such as Austen, Dickens, the Brontë sisters... but have you actually READ these books? Sisters Katy and Marsha take a closer look at classical texts, expect feminist rants, funny anecdotes, coarse language and general silliness! Needless to say, this isn’t a podcast you want to reference in your coursework!
Grrrrrr, we arrrreeee back!!
And something is afoot in Shirley Jackson's Hill House! We are die hard fans of the show, so the book has a lot to live up to... even though the book was first... look we are spiritually bonded with the show!!
So we have a lot of shared names from the show, but not a lot of the same characters. Dive in with us, as we discover Hill House anew, hash out sister angst, discuss our cup of stars, and even get a little analytical... or illiterate, one of those!
Enjoy!
