About Uncomfortable Ad Break

Marketing is a broken industry. Budgets get cut in the name of AI, till companies realise they’re spending more on tokens (https://www.inc.com/chris-morris/ai-was-supposed-to-save-companies-money-instead-its-blowing-up-budgets-in-a-big-way/91372478)than on people. Industry awards are filled with fraud. Ads are so fucking dull. I could go on. How do we fix this? I don’t have a magic recipe, but I have an idea. Put people at the centre. So I am launching a new interview series: Uncomfortable Ad Break. A series of candid conversations with industry professionals, creators, advertisers, art directors, and more. The aim is to name a spade a spade, call out the bullshit, and talk honestly about what we can change in our everyday working lives to make the industry a better place.
