True Christianity has become uncommon to many believers. Uncommon Christianity is devoted to clarifying what the Scripture actually teaches and to dispelling the misconceptions and false teachings that have become widespread in the modern Church, calling believers back to biblical Christianity as revealed by Christ and His Apostles.
VESSELS OF HONOR Episode Two: The Brook Where the Vessel Is Prepared E179•2026
Before David ever faced Goliath, the stone that would bring down the giant had already been prepared. David did not make the stone smooth. He found it smooth in the brook. In this episode, we consider the brook as a powerful picture of spiritual preparation. Trials, friction, discipline and obedience can expose the rough edges within us and give us opportunities to grow. The battlefield is not the place to begin preparing. We must become ready before the moment of usefulness arrives. And once the stone leaves the brook, another stage begins: the hidden place of the shepherd's bag.

VESSELS OF HONOR Episode One: In a Great House: What Is a Vessel of Honor? E178•2026
What does Paul mean when he calls believers “vessels” in the great house? Beginning with 2 Timothy 2:20–21, we establish the foundation of this series: salvation brings us into Christ, but the Christian life involves becoming sanctified, useful and prepared for the Master's purposes. We conclude by turning to David and the five smooth stones he chose from the brook. Why were they already smooth before the battle began? In Episode Two, we will begin at that brook and discover a powerful picture of how a vessel becomes prepared before the moment of usefulness arrives.

The Pope and the Gospel: Why Christ Needs No Substitute E090•2026
In this episode of Uncommon Christianity, we address a critical and often misunderstood issue in the Christian world today — the role of the pope and the claims of the papacy. As global tensions rise and religious voices enter political conversations, many assume that the pope speaks with unique authority on behalf of Christ. But is that idea supported by the New Testament? Opening the Scriptures, we examine what Jesus and the apostles actually taught about authority, mediation, and access to God. With clarity and conviction, this episode confronts the question: does any man have the right to stand as the representative of Christ on earth? From the headship of Christ to the truth that there is only one mediator between God and man, we return to the simplicity of the gospel — salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. This is not an attack on people, but a call back to truth. A call back to Christ. And a reminder that He alone is enough.
