[…] There is Donald Trump's favorability in North Carolina is way down. I think it's in the 30s right now. even though he's won North Carolina three times in the election, although he says six if you count the primaries, you know, his favorability has really fallen. Part of that has to do with the war in Iran and gas prices right now, other things, you know, his beauty projects in D.C. There's so many different things that are leading to that. And then just the economy in general, which, you know, if you're a Republican right now trying to tell your constituents that the economy is good when it's they're hurting trying to go grocery shopping or get gas that's not a winning message and that's what they're trying to campaign on right now so it's not very helpful to them well I'll use your mention of the price of gas as a segue to what's going on suddenly the legislature it looks like is going to be back as soon as maybe tomorrow. […]
