check your blind spots (literally, figuratively, spiritually); mercury retrograde in pisces!

Greetings friends, The first Mercury retrograde of the year is just about to kick off, and it’s going to be rather interesting. The experience of us literally moving through it may feel rather confusing or disorienting, but we have to trust that this is leading us to clarity (because it is)! This Mercury retrograde takes place between the night of February 25th and the afternoon of March 20th, retracing its steps between 22º and 8º Pisces. If you have placements between these degrees, then you may find that this will feel especially influential over a life theme that you will spend some time learning more about and perhaps developing more wisdom in during this period. This is an important time for us to think of all the things that we have perpetually pushed to the back of our to-do lists, in both our material lives and also our emotional ones. This retrograde is bound to point our attention toward all of the things that haunt us as we’re trying to fall asleep; where does your mind wander to? We may find that this retrograde will reveal to us the things we are not seeing but are sitting right in front of us, which may lead to breakthroughs around spiritual development processes, mental health issues, emotional metabolization, and confusion about the future. We may be looking back upon past experiences and seeing them in a different light; this retrograde highlights how sometimes the answer you are looking for can only be seen with distance from the matter and time. We may find that there are going to be the usual delays in transportation or travel, issues in communication, or technological difficulties, but this retrograde asks us to examine what our unconscious response is to any of these matters and to identify what that may say about our beliefs or our nervous system’s current state. We may also find ourselves readdressing memories from the past, perhaps reaching back to childhood, but also perhaps involving topics, scenarios, or relationships that feel open-ended and unfinished to us. I could go on, but you’ll hear all of the nuances of this retrograde in the episode; these next few weeks are very beneficial to our collective emotional and spiritual well-being. You may notice by the time the post-shadow period is over (April 9th) that you have a lot more energy, mental clarity, and inner stability. I’m always welcoming questions, so if you have any curiosities about this retrograde, feel free to email me or leave a comment on this post. EVERYTHING you need to know about eclipse season: a very emotional (but healing!) september

This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit 17degrees.substack.com (https://17degrees.substack.com?utm_medium=podcast&utm_campaign=CTA_7) Greetings friends! First of all, my apologies for the brief delay in this month’s forecast being sent out, it is a much longer episode (nearly 2.5 hours), as I wanted to give you a comprehensive discussion about not only September’s energy as a whole, but also the eclipses that will form a little bit later this month, the first of which comes together this weekend! This episode gives you an in-depth look at the energies that will be hosting an intimate conversation about the role that we play in our healing and growth process, as we will come to become better acquainted with through the eclipses that form on the 7th and 21st of this month. As I mentioned in this episode, I am on a road trip to Kansas as we speak; I will be attending a music festival this upcoming weekend, so I will be for the most part unavailable, as I will be dancing my heart out under the light of the Pisces full moon. However, I do not want to leave you without the option to receive some astrological support for this eclipse season, which is why I’m running a little special with a select number of slots. Here are the details: These notes will include insight for the lunar eclipse in Pisces on September 7th, 2025, and the solar eclipse in Virgo on September 21st, 2025. Each set of notes is specially curated for your natal chart and is written from a holistic point of view, considering additional planetary influences that are currently activating your chart. These notes include suggested practices and perspective shifts, as well as predictions of what you might expect from these events. DM me on Instagram (@seventeendegrees_) or send me an email (aspen@17-degrees.com) to secure your spot. **There are only 10 spots available!** HOW TO BOOK: Send me an email or DM me with: * Your birth chart information (birth date, time, and location — please spell out your birth month and follow it with the day and year, e.g., September 7th, 2025. Please put your birth time in AM/PM format.) * Your preferred payment method (between the two options listed) and the username I should send the request to. Payment will be accepted on PayPal or Venmo. Please do NOT toggle on the "goods and services" on either platform, as this charges me a fee to process it. Each set of notes is $50. * Any context that you feel is important for me to know, and any themes you may want me to specifically look at in relation to the eclipses. Your spot will be secured once all information listed above has been received and the payment request has been completed. Moon notes will be sent out in order of booking and will be received no later than September 6th, 2025. MOON MINI: the threads that tie this aquarius full moon back to last year's aquarius full moon

This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit 17degrees.substack.com (https://17degrees.substack.com?utm_medium=podcast&utm_campaign=CTA_7) Hello friends, Welcome to this not-so-mini, Moon Mini, the first of a series of episodes that will involve the analysis of the different lunations we experience. While I can’t guarantee that there will be an episode for each new and full moon we encounter, I can promise that I will create one for the lunar events that feel more significant to our collective development and individual evolutionary processes. Not every moon is built the same; some are more pronounced than others. That said, this one is a big activation and accelerator to a story that was likely initiated in some way through the last full moon in Aquarius in August last year. We see the kite formation involving Saturn, Neptune, Mars, Uranus, and Pluto coming into its peak activation. We also see the Jupiter-Venus conjunction preparing to go exact under this moon’s influence. Overall, a very exciting energy to encounter, and in comparison to last year’s Aquarius full moon, this one feels a bit more optimistic and motivating. Book a personal reading with me here. mercury retrograde (mind ur business and have a glow up, or watch the drama ensue)

Hi friends, Enjoy the first public episode of my podcast! I recorded this episode two weeks ago but have just now been able publish it; I’ve been in the most tumultuous moving process ever, LOL. This Mercury retrograde is going to be a doozy if we let it be. I encourage you to examine your identity expression through this and ponder what your ego feels validated by, what it clings to, and how it tries to maintain control and confidence, especially in ways that may not be fully aligned with who you want to become. I hope you enjoy this episode and would love to know what you think! Feel free to leave a comment if you wish, and reviews are always appreciated. :) I did not receive enough responses to my first Advice Column theme, so I will not be recording one related to that theme ("where do I begin?"), and instead will be taking Mercury retrograde submissions––confessions and questions are both welcome! You can submit your entry through the link below.
